I don't know what these clips are like for hairdressing, but for what I want they're perfect.I have several items of cleaning equipment (floor moppers and swabbers, both electric and manual, rubber brooms, ceiling dusters etc.) which need microfibre cloths attached to them. Most of them come with one or a couple of proprietary cloths and then you have to buy more as these wear out. Actually you have to buy more immediately because you don't want to wait for a mophead to come out of the wash before you mop the kitchen floor again. And these proprietary, branded, cloths are expensive - in some cases ridiculously so.It's far cheaper to use ordinary microfibre cloths, which you can either pick up in pound shops or buy in bulk from janitorial suppliers, eBay, Amazon or wherever. The problem is that the general microfibre cloths you buy are simple rectangles, whereas the proprietary cloths have loops and Velcro fastenings etc. and are shaped so that they fit the head of the mop or broom. These clips solve the problem. Just plonk the mop onto the microfibre cloth, grab each side of the cloth either side of the mop handle, and with two clips you're good to go. The clips grip well, they have teeth to stop the cloth slipping, and they're light so they don't add any weight to the mop head.Best of all, they're very cheap to buy so you can allocate two clips to each broom, mop or whatever and, if you break one, it isn't going to break the bank.Useful for crafting as well!
