Bought this because I have long, fine, straight hair that goes down to my hips, and it’s prone to getting greasy, so I wanted to find a boars hair bristle brush that would help distribute the oils from my scalp to the rest of my hair. I’ve bought boar bristle brushes in the past and hated them, but this one works so well with the other more sturdy bristles sprinkled throughout the boar bristles.Plus it comes with a little brush to help clean hair out of the bristles, and the little bag it comes with is darn cute.I have purchased one for myself, others for my daughters, my sister... We love this brush. It glides through thin hair, thick hair, and curly hair reasonably well. It’s beautiful and seems well made. I used the Goody brushes and liked them, but all our old ones that were like this with boar and longer plastic bristles have broken. I couldn’t find them anywhere anymore(Target/Walmart) and looked online to see if I could find them. Then I saw this brush and decided to try it out. The plastic bristles on the Goody brushes had plastic things on the tips that would break off, and then it would scratch your scalp. These don’t do that. They are nicer than the Goody brushes and work in the same manner. My girls don’t complain so much anymore when I brush their hair.Bought this to replace an old brush and after using it the first time and it gliding through my hair, detangling and smoothing as it did, I immediately bought one for my daughter. I have struggled for years to find something that works for me without causing me a lot of pain and breakage. This brush is it!! I can't speak top how it works for other hair types, but it's exactly what I need. The combination bristles are the ideal design for my hair and with my detangler spray and this brush I can tackle the snarls pain-free. I am so glad I found this brush and I 100% would buy it again.Okay so,Today is the first day I've used the brush I got it today!! AnnnddddddI AM IN LOVE WITH IT.does good on wet and dry hair. My hair is super thin but I have a lot of it and usually my hair tangles into knots with standard brushes so I use detangking spray! THis literally( without my usual detangling spray went straight through my hair without an issue! No knots no problems. LOOOVVEEE ITT. IT also appears like it will last years. Definitely worth it 100%.My favorite brush ever. I like it even better than the Tangle Teaser I used to have. My hair is very long and thick but this detangles and smooths and it feels like a head massage while I brush. The cleaning tool works so well to get all that dust and lint out, which I was never able to fully remove from past brushes. It must be cleaning my hair while I brush, at the rate it accumulates dust. Really love this brush.The brush works great! I think it is well constructed and the set as a whole is nice. The brush comes with a small decorative storage bag and a wire brush cleaner. The wording on the directions is a little silly (likely translated) but the general point is conveyed. My only disappointment is that the wood look on top part part of the bristle-side of the brush is chipping. Other than that, completely functional and good!Absolutely love it! I won't use any other kind of brush from now on.I’m very pleased with this brush. It looks very traditional and pretty on my dressing table. I like that it has the small cleaning tool with it too. I have very fine hair with very little body. This brush does seem to add a certain oomph to my hair, it also looks very shiny and never tangles. It’s also very relaxing to use. I like it so much I’m getting some more as gifts.This brush is amazing.. I love the fact that it has 2 different bristles and it definitely works.. my only downfall is if you have thin hair like my own your hair goes greasy in the matter of 24hrs with usingExcellent hairbrush, easy to brush your hair with. A little heavy in hand but good quality. Nice touch to add the little cleaning brush. Very useful. Happy with this product.Just a normal hairbrush. I have very frizzy hair, didn't make any difference to it. It's a nice brush but doesn't have super powers!The brush was nicely boxed and came complete with a tool to remove hair from the brush and a cotton bag to keep them both in. Very helpful additions! The brush itself is very pleasant to use and to hold.
