I bought the platinum shade, which was a tiny bit more yellow than my hair (think Playboy models in the 90’s platinum), so I did a purple shampoo on it. This toned it to my desired shade, but stained my lace purple in the process, so if you do this, be careful and dilute your shampoo. It took a few regular washes to remove the color from the lace, but overall worked to tone the hair. I think it’s a nice little piece for someone who just needs a small amount of coverage (which is what I wanted). Hair is smooth and seems to be good quality. I have fine Caucasian hair and was able to make it blend nicely, but I think it could also work for someone who has medium hair too. The front is best for one who does not need their topper to be their hairline, as it needs a little camouflage w/ your bio hair to look natural. Overall, I’m pleased with the purchase.
